A fireplace is the one piece of masonry everyone in the house looks at every day. We handle the whole assembly — firebox, hearth, surround, and chase — so the finish stone and the working parts are designed together instead of patched together.
Firebox to cap, one crew
Whether it is a full masonry firebox or a manufactured insert getting a stone surround, we set the unit, build the chase, and finish the stone with the same crew. Clearances to combustibles, hearth extensions, and mantel heights get checked against code before the surround goes up, not after.
Scaled to the room
Floor-to-ceiling stone can swallow a small living room, and an undersized surround disappears in a great room with 20-foot ceilings. We mock up the footprint and the mantel line on site so you can see the proportion before committing.
Outdoor fireplaces and fire pits
Outdoor units get frost-appropriate footings, a properly sized flue and chimney height for draft, and a cap that keeps water and snow out. Add a wood box, seat walls, or a hearth ledge and you get a patio that works from April through October in this climate.
